Grandpa John and Grandma Carol drove their vehicles up to Cashmere and are staying at our house for the Summer/Fall. They will be also staying with Caitlin. It's sure nice to have help with the kids, dishes and cleaning! My life has been crazy getting ready for the summer camp that I organize. I'm so thankful to have their help during this busy time.

The weather has been really nice lately, so the kids have had lots of playing outside. Such creative play. On this day, they dressed up in exercise outfits and were running laps in the front yard!

We have started the second phase in our patio paver project that started last summer. Kent has already put quite a few days in, and it's looking great! I decided I'd like to have a dry creek down a small hill in our front yard garden. The creek made us come up with an idea of having a bridge as part of the pathways in our front yard. In two days, Kent built a wonderful bridge!

When the bridge was finished, the kids thought it would be the perfect place for a tea party!

Finn's either saying, "Yay!" or "Wee!".

Wonderful big brother pouring "tea" for Finn.

This is what happens when you have an older sister!

Easter 2016

Last week (in a dramatic fashion) Brooke lost her first top tooth. It's taking a while to get used to seeing this new smile!

Finn is 19 months old and it's all about the trucks! He loves to push them down his slide. So much fun!

Brooke really wants Finn to go down his slide. She set him up and ran around to catch him!

Weeeee!

Sweet snuggles with little brother.

On Easter Sunday we had a wonderful breakfast at church followed by an Easter egg hunt. Finn had a great time picking up the eggs and giving them a shake!

Auntie has been busy with her job but was able to get over to our region to celebrate Easter with us!

A group picture after the hunt!

Yakima

We are on a quick weekend trip to Yakima for Kent's music education conference.  What do you do in Yakima in February?! Well, first of all you get lost and overhear the GPS saying your last name!  After a quick photo-op, we were back in the car headed to get an oil change... So very exciting!

It was chilly outside so we hung in the car eating our lunch.  And then, finally some fun stuff!  One of our favorite spots is to visit Kids' Castle at Gymnastics Plus. Expensive, but worth spending a few hours there if you have the time!

We stopped by this amazing playground and got a few more wiggles out. We were the only people there! Next it was on to the hotel pool for a swim and then into jammies watching shows!
