We had a very enjoyable evening on our backyard patio. Kent cooked up our favorite steak, corn and veggies for dinner. We have discovered the best cut of meat and marinade combination... Fred Meyer Flat Iron Steak and the following recipe:
Flat Iron Steak Marinade
1/3 c. oil
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. white vinegar
1 t garlic powder
1 T molasses
1 t ginger
We like that recipe so well that we don't order steak that often in restaurants... it's usually not as good!
We got the fire going and enjoyed the weather, backyard and conversation. John went to the store for us and picked up marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers. I'm sure you know what we did with those ingredients! [above] The girls of the family all holding their "babies". Carol with a bottle of wine, Caitlin with Maisy and Annie with Brooke!
