We had a great weekend with Bing and Britta. We took a few drives around the area, two enjoyable walks, lots great food, and especially lots of baby time.
At this time of year Lake Roosevelt is very low. During the summer this whole area is filled with water.
No distance can stop these dogs from finding water!
Brooke has a wonderful weekend showing off all her tricks to a new set of eyes. She also had fun with her toys. She especially enjoyed pulling up on and knocking over her toy box over and over again. She is very entertained by her books. She turns the pages and sometimes even "describes" what she sees!
What a pretty smile!
She's be having lots of fun with her grandparents in the future, can't you tell!
On Sunday we took a walk around Old Kettle Falls. There is a lot of interesting history that emerges out of the sand when Lake Roosevelt is at it's low levels in the spring. Foundations of old buildings and streets can still be explored. Old Kettle Falls was moved in the 1930's when the Grand Coulee Dam was built by President Roosevelt.
On this day she was not a big fan of sand. Maybe she takes after her mom who HATED getting sand in between her toes when she was a kid.
Look no hands! Even Grandpa Bing got a chance to carry Brooke in the front pack. She kept him entertained with a lot of jabber... mostly "mamama" and "dadada".
