I have learned that the only way to get a break from the winter is to head south! We have been in California for a week and the kids are enjoying wearing fewer layers of clothing and the chance to play in the pool and patio.
Leah visited us and we were glad to spend a few days with her.
The kids have been creative with ways to stay entertained away from home!
We made a trip to the zoo.
The kids put on a great African drumming show!
Brooke went on her first carousel ride and loved it. To get a good smile on her face we said, "Brooke, say WART HOG!" Every time we went around she would yell at Grandma Carol, "WART HOG!"
